"I remember a family that attended the medical missions. The father had a cataract removal, the son had a hernia repair and the daughter had her eyes checked and was given prescription glasses. Their joy, excitement and appreciation is unforgettable as finally their health burdens had been lifted. It is a constant reminder to me to help the less privilege no matter how minute my widows’ mite may be.

"There was a massive turnout of patients at the April 2010 missions organized by Edensfield and Lagos State Ministry of Health. Health professionals, experts in their respective fields, were on board to provide free care and medication to the people.

"The sigh of relief and the tears of joy that flowed from a mother after her child’s high fever was brought down with paracetamol injection is very touching to behold. Now she gets to go home with free medication to treat the child’s malaria without paying a dime for consultation. The medical mission was a touching and inspiring experience for me.
